First was created from two groups - Grampian and Badgerline. Grampian group subsidiaries always had an "i" in the fleetname which was surmounted by a Scottish thistle rather than a dot. This Scania has been recently preserved in to Grampian Group "Midland Bluebird" livery.

Seen on Ossington crossing College Ave. Photographed in service on NJT Rt.505. The small bus station in Blyth is between the shopping centre and the Arriva depot McColls purchased a number of similar vehicles from National Express in Birmingham
